I’ve stopped ordering almost all of their Asian stir fries. They all use sweet Thai chili sauce, thinking a US dish needs to be overly sweet, and so all these dishes taste the same, and nothing like what American Chinese food tastes like from a restaurant nor what actual Thai food from a restaurant tastes like.
They’re just too cheap or lazy to source all the proper ingredients for these meals so they only source sweet Thai chili sauce, sweet soy glaze, Szechuan sauce, tamari, and hoisin. Mostly overly sweet premade sauces.
If I wanted a sweet glaze that tasted good, I would ship brown sugar or honey, oyster sauce, and cooking wine to make something like General Tso’s and an additional orange to make Orange Chicken. Their orange chicken was you guessed it sweet Thai chili sauce, sweet soy glaze, and rice wine vinegar.
