Guys, it’s lunch time at the sorority house and we’re doing barbecued chicken salads. I’m going to start by marinating my chicken. I have chicken breast here today and we’re going with a little bit of avocado oil, big pinch of kosher salt, black pepper, I have some dried basil, dried teragon, and I got a little bit of dried parsley. We’re going to finish that with some pureeed garlic and a squeeze of dijon mustard. That’s it. Get in there and mix that all around. Get everything really well coated. I got my grill heated up. We’re just going to throw these down. They’re going to cook really fast. They’re sliced thin. Flip them over. When they’re nice and golden brown, those are good. I go ahead and slice them up. This is going to be real easy when we make our salad. Chicken’s ready. Let me show you how we build this thing. Grab a plate. I have a Roma and iceberg mix. We’ll throw a nice bed of lettuce right down. We’ll hit that with a cheese blend. It’s a cheddar jack. Go in with some grape tomatoes. I split them in half. Black beans are next, followed by our little corn nibts. And we hit that chicken. Nice healthy amount. We want to fill people up today. Go ahead and swirl on some ranch dressing. I got some barbecue sauce, too. I’m going to swirl that on as well. The sweet, tangy barbecue sauce mixes with that creamy ranch and just makes for this amazing dressing. We finish with some tortilla strips. And look at that, man. Just get in there and enjoy. What a treat. Thanks for watching. Cheers everyone.

  2. Looks delicious! 😋 😋 However, I think dried parsley is just a bland and blank seasoning. Just like cilantro, when you dry parsley it loses all its flavor. Adding it adds nothing to the dish.

  5. Avocado oil is a junk fat just like soybean oil is. The only healthy fats are lard and beef tallow. Most all seed oils contain hydrogenated fats because they are heated and filtered when they are mad.
