It’s a small brisket. 2.4 lbs.
2 1/2 cans small cans of coke.
1/4 cup olive oil.
1/4 cup Worcestershire.
4 minced cloves of garlic.
About 24 hrs in the fridge.

Smoked at 225 for almost 6 hours.
Wrapped at 170.
Pulled at 203.
Enclosed and rested for an hour.

    Won’t lie, doesn’t look great. The moisture from the coca cola really ruined the bark 🙁

    My uncle uses a cup of coffee for his brisket.

  3. Shouldn’t use a sugar based marinade for smoking. The final product looks pretty bad

    I use cola for pork sometimes but I cook it down to a glaze with other stuff like onion powder, chilis, and whiskey.
    Beer is another favorite with black pepper, fennel, anise seed, onion, garlic, etc.
