I think it’s a genetic mutation to a typical green tomato hornworm, but curious if anyone has a better idea! He was relocated to a sacrificial plant to turn into a moth:)

Depending what the plant they eat is, they camoflauge. Youre in texas so it isnt cold, and so plants wont be purple for stress… are you growing midnight variety cherry tomatoes

They darken just before pupation. It’ll probably build its cocoon shortly
