Sloppy Joes #easydinner #kidfriendlymeals #crockpot #familydinner #sloppyjoes #fok

Let’s make super easy and delicious homemade sloppy joe’s. This recipe will easily feed 8 to 10 people. Now, I’m going to put this in the crock pot and let it cook for a few hours, but you definitely don’t have to do that. You could make it just on the stove top. Start by browning 2 and 1/2 lbs of ground beef. Once it’s cooked, drain off the excess fat. I dumped the beef into my crock pot and added two small onions chopped. One tablespoon dry mustard, 2 tablespoons white vinegar, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and about 14 oz of ketchup. I just measured with my heart. Mix everything all together. And I set my crock pot on low and it cooked for probably 3 or 4 hours until it was time for dinner. But you could just let it simmer on your stove top if you wanted to do that instead. This was simple and delicious and a big hit with our grown kids and the little kids as well. I have had this recipe for years. Got it from my good friend Janet back when swapping recipes on note cards was in style. I have it right here. Feel free to pause and take a snapshot and share it with your family, too.
