Pulled this fancy thing from one of our (usually) plain white towel bags. I am blessed this day.

I guess these are rare if you only get plain white but definitely not legendary. Regardless, that’s cool.

Classic cintas terry. I have 250 of these that need folded if you want to swing by.
We pull the ones that don’t match their stripes and collect them lol.

We get the threadbare ones that are completely non- absorbent and essentially function as a soft squeegee

That’s what all out towels look like…
Here I thought you were happy because it’s whole, unripped, unfrayed, but already broken in. That’s my legendary rare. If they’re not ripped or fraying, they’re usually brand new, which essentially means starched and useless. They don’t absorb anything and they don’t have any fluff to protect from heat. Once broken in they fluff up a lot and are both more heat rilesistant and absorbent. The catch is that most of the broken in towels have holes, rips, or frayed edges.

I used to go through all the Alsco bags to find the rare ones. Accidentally left with about 117 of them in my back pocket over a year or so…

I’m the only person in my kitchen who sorts rags and washes/hangs aprons, so every time we get a delivery I pick through it looking for rares.
