Hi, I’m Jojo and welcome to my kitchen. I’m going to throw together a really quick chimmy cherry doing with stuff I already have at home and in my garden. So, we’re going to do onion, we’re going to do garlic, we’re also going to do some balsamic, some olive oil, some salt, cuz everything needs a little bit of salt. And then we’ve got our fresh herbs. I’ve got oregano, parsley, and basil. These are from my garden. Use what you have on hand. It’s still going to be delicious. But the allure of this recipe is really the fresh ingredient. We’ve got our onion here. I’ve got my garlic in oil. We love garlic, so we’re going to use one, two, three, four, five cloves. Then the oregano I’m going to strip off of the leaf. I don’t think we want the stem in there. Okay. Okay. Now, I’m also going to grab a handful of my fresh parsley. This I don’t care about the stems. All that greenery is fine. Chop it roughly and throw it on in. And then basil. My favorite part. Basil. I love basil. I will add basil and garlic to just about anything. So, I’m just going to kind of stuff it all in here. This is a three cup food processor that I have. Um, nothing squashed. It’s all got room to breathe and to move. Then we’re going to drizzle with our olive oil. We want a good amount. Like I said drizzle, I lied. We’re saturating. We’re saturating with our olive oil. We’re going to do a big splash of balsamic. Yeah, we don’t want that to be too overpowering. Salt. Don’t do it without salt. It won’t taste good. and food process. That looks good. So, the consistency is pretty smooth. Put it in the fridge, let it chill. The flavors are going to just become more and more potent. Absolutely delicious. The world is your oyster when you can make your own chimmy cherry sauce. Enjoy.
