It’s finally that time of year to indulge in all of our favorite autumn flavors, from pumpkin spice to cinnamon swirl and caramel apple. And Costco just rolled out a new fall-flavored pastry that is going to pair so nicely with your daily pumpkin spice lattes. It’s a Caramel Apple Strudel Bite, and it might just become your new favorite fall treat.
“Have you tried the caramel apple strudel at Costco?” Shannon from Costco So Obsessed wrote in the caption of a recent post. “I would warm them up for a bit and have them with coffee.”

These delicate little puffs are made with all-butter pastry dough that’s flaky and light, and they’re each filled with Costco’s caramel apple filling, which is made with real apples, and finished with coarse, crispy sugar that gives these pastries a little crunch.
Another Costco shopper posted a photo of the Caramel Apple Strudel Bites to Reddit, writing, “New, and good! Relatively decent ingredient list and conveniently sized portions. As with most bakery items, they’ll likely be even better with a quick visit to the air fryer.”
Another person said, “This is one of the fall crack items. Currently, a clamshell full on my counter, soon to be empty.”
“Saw these today and tried them — delicious,” someone else on Reddit wrote. “A puff pastry apple dessert is what has been missing for some time in the Costco lineup.”
If you’d like to try to make your own Caramel Apple Strudel Bites at home, the Food Network website has a great recipe. It only takes about an hour to pull together and uses store-bought phyllo dough, which bakes up into a light and flaky crust similar to Costco’s. It even offers options to add extra flavorful ingredients like raisins and chopped pecans.
Hit your nearest Costco to see if the Caramel Apple Strudel Bites are in stock in the bakery and grab a carton to enjoy with your morning cup of coffee or afternoon latte. They’re so good, you might want to grab another carton to freeze for later!
