Anyone have an idea of how many calories are in this beef shawarma? I ate the whole thing and that’s garlic sauce on the side. The inside also looks fairly heavily sauced so even though it’s on the medium size I’m guessing it’s 1,000 ish? Maybe more? Thanks a million!

that looks sooo good, i can’t give a great estimate but i believe it would be around 800-1000. the meat used is often quite high calorie and sometimes is mixed with binders/fats if it’s going to be cooked on a spit. the sauces can either be low calorie (yoghurt based), or high calorie depending on where you go. i would log the shawarma at 900, and the sauce at 150 even though its probably not 100% accurate. i’d log it all at about 1100 calories for the day if i wanted to be safe and maybe be overestimating a bit!
