Never pour your used
cooking oil down the drain. Here’s what you can do instead. Let’s say you’re making a nice
crispy batch of french fries and are left with this dirty hot oil
that you want to throw away. They make these crazy oil
hardening powders now that you can add into your hot oil. Then give it a whisk so it dissolves, and after about 30 minutes it’ll turn
into this hard jello-like consistency that you can safely
and easily throw into the trash.

instead of wasting money on this, dump it in an old soda can or jar and then stick it in the fridge. toss it out when it cools and solidifies
You should try doing that and then using the oil to make popcorn. It's mad good especially when you use oil from bacon

I see the dumbest video from this dude and had to see how many more videos were dumb. He means don't put Grease down the drain cause it Hardens when cooled and imagine hard grease clogging pipes and sticky so 2x difficult to remove. But if it's gonna harden when cools no point in buying something to harden it. Poor into empty can goods can while warm liquid and throw away or reuse. So grease doesn’t harden in pan or sink pipes.

My Desi Mom : Has a wok filled with oil which has been used to fry everything for 2 months. I don't know what black things are in that oil and when it gets to dirty, she doesn't even throw it she just strains it

Or if you don't have the money to put this oil hardening whatever just after it cool down put it in an empty bottle of water or a plastic bag and freeze it in the fridge then throw it
