INGREDIENTS:
1 large onion- chopped small
1/2 cup Italian parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp. cilantro-chopped
1/5 Lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. sweet paprika
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cumin
2 eggs or 1 shredded potato or 1/2 cup bread crumbs or 1 shredded zucchini
For the sauce-
1/4 cup olive oil
4 large garlic cloves
1/2 cup- chopped cilantro, parsley, mint.
2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth

Greetings everyone and welcome back. Chef Yafa here and today I have to show you something really special. You know me, you know that I’m a classic chef. I love my pants and pots and I love my tajine or as Rafy my husband says I am married to my pens and pots. You know that as a classic chef I praise cooking. There’s my mom’s tine as beat up as can be. But not today. Today I have something very special for you that actually can give you very similar results to a classic tjine or to your favorite pot. And this is what I’m talking about. This is labolf soup pot. This is really special. And I’m going to get closer so that you can see what I have in my hand. First of all, look how pretty it is. Isn’t that pretty? I would serve this pot to the table for my guests to look at it, admire it, and enjoy it. Look at this beautiful pot. I really like the way it looks. It’s called Laboth. L E B as in boy. O F as in Frank. Lab. And it is my new soup pot. I love it. Look at that. Look at the handles. It’s got two handles. I’m going to show you that even when the food is boiling in inside this pot. I am going to touch the handles and I’m not going to worry. I’m not going to burn my fingers. Wait till you see. Yes, I like the way this pot is designed, but even more than that, I am loving how easy it was to cook with it. I got all my ingredients right here by me. So, without any further ado, let’s go ahead and start cooking with the Leb soup pot. And I promise you, you’re going to love it. So, why do I love this beautiful design pot? Is it just because it looks so pretty? Oh, no. This pot cooks three times faster heat conduction. No more hot spots, no more burning spots. This is how good this pot is. Effortly, lightweight. This would be easy for anyone to carry really. Oh, and look at the base. You can tell this is a nice thick base. Oh gosh. You know, and especially for some of the slowcooked Mediterranean foods that I usually would use my tajine for it, I’m going to start using this beautiful. Okay. So, now that we reviewed this beautifully designed lab soup pot, let’s make a wonderful, delicious, classic Mediterranean dish. the Moroccan meatballs with red sauce. So, I’m going to start by adding one and a half pounds of ground beef. I like to make a well in the middle. Just like that. Well, in the middle. And to this, I am adding all the ingredients for the meatballs. I’m going to start with the onions. To this I am adding about a half cup shredded zucchini. You can add an egg, you can add bread crumbs, or you can add a vegetable such as a zucchini. Sometimes when I don’t have zucchini, I would add potatoes. Now to this I am adding about a half cup parsley already chopped. And to this mixture, I am adding what I have here in this small bowl. So all I’m doing now, I’m just pouring all this mixture into the meat. And now let’s mix it. I have to make sure that everything that all the spices really blend in. And then I’m going to refrigerate it in the refrigerator covered for about 30 minutes. While the ground beef mixture is sitting in the refrigerator, I’m going to get ready with the hot sauce. Here we go. All I’m doing now, I’m going to add all the ingredients for our delicious tomato sauce. Look at that. I love it. Love it. Love it. So, I’ve got here one cup of beef broth. And if you don’t have beef broth, no worry. What you can do is just do what I did. You can find this on my shop on Amazon. the awesome beef flavor. All I did, I took one tablespoon of beef flavor. I added it to my cup and I added one cup of water. Mix it and let it sit for a few minutes. That’s all you do. And then add it to the pot. And to this I am adding my amazing sauce combination. Let’s pour it in. And now we’re going to mix it really well with the beef broth and cook it on low covered for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, my 30 minutes for the beef mixture in the refrigerator are over and I am ready to start making my meatballs. As you noticed, I am using an ice cream scoop. It’s the best. It’s really nice. I like it that all the meatballs are the same size. you know, they cook evenly and you don’t have a meatball that is overcooked because it was so teeny tiny and then it sits right next to a very giant meatball that needs more time to get cooking. Our meatballs are ready. The sauce is boiling. Let’s remove the lid. Here we go. Oh, beautiful. Okay. Can you tell how boiling is the sauce? But look at my hands. Look at my hands. That is amazing. I love it. I love it that I don’t have to use my hot pads. Beautiful. All I’m doing now, I am adding the meatballs. Beautiful. The sauce has to still bubble a little bit while I am adding the meatballs. Now, I have a very good tip for you. If you want these meatballs to look absolutely beautiful, don’t ever use a spatula or a spoon inside the pot. And it’s not because of the pot. This pot is durable. It remember it has a lifetime warranty. Look at that. Beautiful. And look at the color of this sauce. Isn’t that beautiful? Now I’m going to bring it to a boil. And as soon as it starts boiling, I’m going to turn it to low for about an hour and let it simmer. Let it simmer because the meatballs ingredients will flavor the sauce and the sauce ingredients will flavor the meatballs and that’s what we would like. So, as you can see, it takes seconds for it to boil the amount of sauce that I have here. And I can only start seeing the bubbles. Beautiful. And that’s it. Now that it’s boiling, I’m going to add back the amazing, beautifully designed lid. And I’m going to turn it to low. And in about an hour, I will show you what comes out. Stay with me and let’s see what happens inside here. Ah, look at that. Look at it. Remember, I brought it to a boil and then I lowered the heat to simmer. And look at this slowly bubbling sauce. And surprise, this is the delicious, beautiful dinner that I served today with the Leb soup pot. I enjoyed so much cooking with it. I am loving it.
