Cilantro Pesto
Ingredients:
Cilantro, 4 cups washed & dried
Garlic Cloves, 2-4, peeled Lemon Juice, 1 tablespoon
Oil, 1/4 cup
Pine Nuts, 1/2 cup
Parmesan, 1/2 cup grated
Method:
Wash & rinse cilantro
Transfer to food processor
Add garlic, oil, pine nuts and parmesan.
Blend until smooth
Transfer to jar and refrigerate.
NOTES:
1. To ferment, add 1 tablespoon fermented vegetable brine, fermented water kefir, fermented whey, kombucha, ginger bug, or any other liquid fermented beverage.
2. Substitute pine nuts with sunflower seeds, walnuts or any other nut or seed.
3. Substitute parmesan with nutritional yeast.
