Made this cake to enter in our local agricultural fair! While we see a lot of foot traffic the entries are pretty low key so I’m hoping for a blue ribbon! They are kind judges 😅 I almost used purple food dye to neutralize the yellow.. but I haven’t done that before and didn’t realize HOW yellow the cake was til I saw a photo. In person, it’s not so bad. Cake is a homemade chocolate cake, whipped chocolate ganache filling and vanilla bean buttercream.
