Tweaked the recipe a bit using bread flour and whole milk. The outside was crisp and the inside was the exact texture I was looking for, soft and pillowy. I think I’ll use a bit more sugar in the dough next time. (I added more powdered sugar on top after these pictures haha)

    sounds so good, never tried making beignets myself. bread flour seems like a great idea for that chewy texture. definitely going to keep the sugar tip in mind, always nice to have them a bit sweeter. thanks for sharing the link, might give it a go this weekend.

    Beignets are so good but the kitchen will turn into a nightmare after finish making it with flour everywhere. One of these day I will make it again.

    These look amazing! I’m absolutely going to try making these! Did you use the corn oil? Or a different oil? I’ve never cooked with corn oil before.
