Hi everyone, I received burrata for a meal this week (pesto cavatappi). I took out the meal to make and I realized that the burrata seal broke which explains the weird liquid when I received my box. It was the brine! This has been open and without a liquid in my fridge for the past three days. The burrata does not smell weird and is not slimy. I broke it open and it’s still moist inside. Is it safe to eat? I don’t know how important it is to keep it submerged in the brine. Thank you!!

If it’s not smelly or slimey, taste a little bit of it. If it tastes fine, it’ll be fine.

no. if its opened do not use it. improper storage = bacteria growth, health risk, etc. its better to be safe than sorry, even if sorry is JUST mild food poisoning
