I made red bean paste and mochi dough from scratch! I really like the mochi dough and the red bean paste is alright on its own but for some reason I didn’t really like them when combined. Is it supposed to be an acquired taste or should I just try different flavor combinations?

    What didn’t you like about the flavour combination? It might be an acquired taste if you haven’t eaten red bean paste before.
