Follow up to my freeze distillation mill post a couple month’s back, I’m still enamoured by the dirty, so much so, I got new glasses (120ml Loveramics Twisted Glass – super thick, beautiful lines) just to keep in the freezer for this specific drink.

80ml freeze distilled full cream fresh milk. Poured straight from fridge into frozen glass and kept in freezer all through grinding and puck prep.

I bring it out only when I’m ready to pull, and immediately drop ~ 30ml slower flow (finer grind than normal, machine set to 92C. One of the most visually perfect shots I’ve made so far.

  1. Btw, how do people edit their OP. I can edit my comments but for the life of me have never been able to edit my main posts. “Edit” isn’t even any of the menu options anywhere.

That looks disgusting. Give it to me, I will get rid of it for you.

How’d you get the beans above the frank?

You can top it off with some Bailey’s or Cafe Patron! 😛

What do you think about the WPM Primus? Are you happy with the heat-up times, steaming and pressure profiling?

A pretty shot/pic. But may I ask (genuinely), what’s the purpose? I assume that you mix the milk and espresso pre-drinking? Or do you tip the cup and sip and let mixing happen by gravity and the flow?

  7. That looks good as hell. I want to try it. I don’t have that style glass, I’ll have to see if I can find something to make do.

I’ll be trying it in a juice glass lol
