Hungry mouths come foreward!

A new batch of sourdough buns has landed. 3oz. each. The one in the title picture without sesame seeds, for sliders, 2oz.

  • 1000g of italian "00" style of soft wheat flour
  • 600ml of full fat milk
  • 200g of sourdough starter
  • 140g of softened butter
  • 120g of sugar
  • 20g of salt
  • juice of 1/2 of a lemon
  • 2 egg yolks for brushing before baking
  • brushed with butter after baking

Made over the course of 24 hours.

Baked at 175°C for 30 minutes. Cold oven start.

Inside we have two beef patties (2oz.each), a slice of yellow onion, a fresh tomato slice, gouda, mayonnaise, salt and cracked black pepper.

Buns are nothing short of incredible.
