I called out of work to bake & assemble my mom’s birthday cake this year! Chocolate cake, cara cara orange curd filling, thick chocolate ganache filling & crumb coat, whipped ganache frosting for deco.
I messed up my whipped ganache by not double checking that all the chocolate was incorporated. The texture was alright but i would have preferred it to be smoother.
