    Hello fellow Dutchie. 😛

You’d think there’s a certain level of stupidity that’s just not possible, but as the quote often attributed to Einstein goes; “Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe.”

  3. our fucking managers turn off the freezer to do their count cause they’re whiny little fucks.

every goddamn week i have to yell at them to turn it back on and to buy a stupid coat for the order days.

  4. Why not put a camera on it, find out who’s doing it and fire them? If they’re doing it maliciously, they’ll just sabotage something else instead.

And probably void any sort of warranty by drilling screws into the side of it.

I put a trail camera up in front of the freezer at work when I was accused of stealing a 20 # case of kielbasa. Found the thief the next night.

This happened at a spot I worked at. We’d come in every Tuesday and all our coolers and freezers would be switched off. We couldn’t figure out why, we had a very small staff and everyone swore it wasn’t them. Eventually we figured out that our owners brother who deep cleaned the restaurant every Monday because we were closed that day was having a mental health crisis. We watched the cameras and he’d come in, talking to himself, wildly gesturing, turn off everything that had a switch and leave without cleaning.

As a german I’d like to say that your language is ridiculous, and I love it to bits.

I just had to put a cage over our hood vent switches, prep people in the back kept turning them off saying they were cold and then the front line people were complaining they were dizzy… just leave it alone please 😖

Wauw, mensen hebben soms een snoepje voor hun hersenen. Sorry voor de slechte vertaling, ik weet dat je Engels spreekt, maar ik heb een vertaalapp gebruikt om cool over te komen.

Old place I worked shared the walk in with the kegs for the bar. Part of closing duty was to shut the cooler off to listen for co2 leaks from the tap lines. I was so nervous about not turning it back on, I’d always triple check it before locking up.

  13. Hey, at least they don’t flip the master breaker when they leave… I’ve got one that does that when they close (a rare occurrence, thankfully), because she can’t recall the “many different machines” that need to be turned off (dishwasher, hood and lights; that’s it). The inventory I need to toss is ludicrous. Also in NL by the way 😉

Ik lijm een metalen tipje over alle koellades met uitknopjes op kniehoogte. Dat leer je wel als je weer alles weg kan gooien xD

I had this same issue. It turned out the cousin fucker thought a freezer would basically stay frozen as long as it stays shut, and the closing list says “turn off all equipment”, so it got turned off any night he closed.

Someone was doing this and i got fired over it. It kept happening after i left.

Ja, sorry, man… Ik moet altijd alles achter mijn reet uit doen want ik liet thuis altijd al het licht aan wanneer ik naar bed ging.. boze vriendin en zo, weet je wel, en toen bleef het erin zitten, zo automatisch. Sorry, man.

ja met je poten van het knopje afblijven.

Hope it works, why on earth does anyone want to shut down the freezer, jesus
