Paesano Days festival returns to Redding with Italian food, fun at South City Park

REDDING, Calif. — Paesano Days is back in Redding. The two-day festival, which celebrates Italian heritage and is hosted by the local chapter of Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, is taking place Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 at South City Park.

There will be a spaghetti dinner, as well as a bocce tournament, going from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on the night of Sept. 12. At 8 a.m. on Sept. 13, the bocce will continue.

In addition, a classic car show will be there that same morning, and it goes until 1 p.m.

All day Sept. 13, there will be a food court with Italian sandwiches. Throughout the weekend, they’re hosting raffles and have cannoli until they run out.
