Here’s the recipe I referenced! Shout out to recipe queen @hailscatalano https://cafehailee.com/recipes/spicy-chicken-caesar-wraps/

So, I’ve actually been wanting to make this chicken Caesar wrap for what feels like 10,000 years, and I’m so excited to report that I finally did it. So, stick around to see what I thought. I used Haley Katalano’s recipe and mixed minced garlic, lemon juice, anchovies, worstershire sauce, dijon mustard, egg yolks, spicy chili oil. That was my adjustment. And then neutral oil. And using an immersion blender that my mother-in-law gifted me, I went ahead and blended that sucker up. I also made sure that all of the anchovi slices were dissolved and then I set that aside. I also took the leftover chicken skin from my rotisserie chicken and crisped it up on the pan for about 2 minutes per side. After I flipped it and let it cook for another 2 minutes. I went ahead and drained the excess oil using a paper towel and then I put together my wrap. on a tortilla. I put the sauce, arugula, rotisserie chicken, the crispy chicken skin, and then an extra dollop of sauce before wrapping it up. After rolling that sucker up, I went ahead and toasted it for about a minute on each side. And after I finished doing that, just to help with the texture, I sliced it open. And this is what we have. And this is what I thought about it. All right, this is the moment of truth to see if this wrap lives up to my anticipation of it. So, first I’m going to take a bite and let you know what I think without the sauce. That is delicious. And I’m so glad I added the chili oil in there because I think it adds that extra kick. And now we’re just going to double up on the sauce and see if that makes it even better. All right, here we go. Mhm. What do you think? Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. And now Lexi is going to put the sauce on. Look at that cute braid in her hair. I really like that. And the kick is present. It’s present. I also I don’t get very hungry in the summer cuz it’s like hot. Yeah. And gross. I feel like this is a perfect lunch because it’s like hearty, I’m not going to be hungry in 5 minutes. Like if I were just eating that salad, I would be hungry in 5 minutes. Same. Same. But I feel like with the tortilla and the protein and like all the little quinoa. Is that quinoa? Like what is that? It’s crispy something. It came with the salad. So I don’t know. Those crunchies. Like I don’t know. I feel like this is delicious, nutritious, easy and quick to eat on a lunch break, and nice and fresh for the summer. Not too hot. You’d have it again? Mhm. Okay, excellent. Bye. Thanks for lunch. You’re welcome.
