Ingredients for 7 High Protein Breakfast Burritos:
Non-stick cooking spray
3 onions
1 clove of garlic
Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning (or seasoning of your choice)
14 oz of cooked lean ground turkey sausage
7 eggs
21 tablespoons of egg whites
7 carb balance tortillas
154 g of fat-free cheese (22g per burrito)
Instructions:
Lightly coat your pan with non-stick spray. This helps reduce calories compared to using oil from a bottle.
Add 3 chopped onions and 1 clove of minced garlic to the pan. Add your seasoning of choice, such as Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning, and cook until the onions are soft.
Add 14 oz (once cooked) of lean ground turkey sausage to the pan with the onions. Add more seasoning, then cook and stir until the meat is fully browned and combined with the onions.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 7 eggs and 21 tablespoons of egg whites. Cook this mixture in the pan, using the soft scramble method to create a fluffy, moist texture.
To assemble the burritos, lay out 7 carb-balance tortillas. Divide the meat and egg mixture into seven equal portions and place one portion on each tortilla.
Top each portion with 22g (or 154g total) of fat-free cheese.
Fold and roll each burrito tightly.
For a crispy exterior, place each burrito back in the pan and cook for a few minutes on each side.
Once finished, you can store your burritos in the fridge or freezer.
Each burrito contains 370 calories, 42g of protein, 37g of carbs and 17g of fat

Once the onions are cooked, add your ground lean turkey sausage to the pan. This will be about 14 oz once cooked. And then incorporate your meat and onions to look like this. Next, crack seven eggs and then mix 21 tablespoons of egg whites. We’ll then sauce scramble this in a pan. Now, let’s assemble our burritos.
