My friend has a small plant that has grown through a crack in his stone on the side of his house. The peppers are falling off, tell me it’s ripe, they start green and finish looking like this. I would consider them medium but I feel like the general public would call them very spicy.

I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure that’s a US dime.

  2. Are they growing upright or hanging down?

I was thinking maybe a Tabasco but the tip doesn’t look as pointy as a Tabasco.

Maybe a Thai? (Birds Eye) Thais are usually longer but I’m not super familiar with them so maybe they are shorter in certain conditions? I believe the tips on these are also usually more pointy.

I’d probably guess ornamental Thai, similar but not as spicy and usually used more for decoration than cuisine.

Looks like a Texas Rice Size and shape pepper, but the calyx is different.

Looks like my little Thai hot peppers. Tiny, but they pack a punch.

Looks like a Filipino labuyo chili. Do they grow pointing upwards?
