Medium well with frozen center straight from the fridge. That gray band of overdone is also pretty wide while the sear looks ok. I would say they nailed the medium-well if you average the surface.

Technically medium rare, bug this was cooked from frozen. The gradient of color from a large band of well done to a center of nearly rare. Hate to see this at a restaurant and why I don’t normally get steak when I eat out.
