And that’s day one done. I’m going to show you how I make this lemon preserve puree over the course of 3 days, step by step. To start, I’m using six lemons for this. You can use as many lemons or as little lemons as you want. But basically, you’re just going to cut up loads of lemons. Just slice them up. And you don’t need to take out the pits. That’s a that’s a later emer problem. We’re not going to deal with that right now. Get some sort of container to put it into. All we need for this is lemons, sugar, and salt. Just three ingredients. Equal parts sugar to salt. So, I’m using just everyday normal sugar. Now, this does not need to be exact. One glass of sugar and one glass of salt. I cut this part out. In she goes. And then we’re just going to mix it up. And what we’re doing is layering our lemons with our sugar and salt mixture. First layer of lemons in, sprinkle over. Next layer, sprinkle over. Looks like this now. And you can see that I made an absolute bags of cutting these. Like some of them are massive and some of them are skinny. It doesn’t matter. It’s grand. Sprinkle that over. Last few bits on top. We’re just going to sprinkle a little bit more over. And that’s day one done. Lid goes on. Into the fridge and we’ll see it in 24 hours. The excess sugar and salt that we have is just going to get poured into this container and we’re going to use it tomorrow. Instead of curing the tops and the tails of the lemon, I’m just going to make a lemon syrup for my tea. And that’s just going to be a bit of sugar and water. Put this on the stove and bring it to a boil and then just turn it down slightly and then cook it out for like 15 to 20 minutes just until it gets a little bit thick. Guam. So, I’ll see you tomorrow. Son.
