How do you steam oat milk to such microfoam perfection? I can never get it right: either too thin or tick as wallpaper paste

  2. Most of the videos I’ve watched online tend to emphasize pouring immediately in one steady attempt after steaming.

From what I understand it’s to get the silky milky to interact with coffee before the microfoam starts to separate, but here you are really taking your time and still achieved a great outcome.

So impressive and like the other comment said – I envy your steady hands! 🙌🏻

Twirling the cup, stopping in the middle like that… I thought you were about to mess this all up. Clearly you know ball and I do not.

Why do you drink oat milk?

Yes keep downvoting me for being curious

You can’t call it milk you have to call it juice.

  6. Oat milk ruins the profile of coffee in a few scientific ways: 1, the proteins are less stable than many milk substitutes and cannot hold up to the acidity of the coffee resulting in a soured taste. 2, the high starch content puts a coating in your mouth that flattens the coffee taste. 3, the fat and protein content doesn’t bond to the flavor/aroma/terpene molecules like other milk substitutes and causes a chalky taste.

Adding rapeseed or sunflower oil (emulsified) helps to counter act the three reasons above. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Those who don’t have experience with oatmilk may never know how good this pour actually was

There’s no way I’m getting that to the table. Will it still look as beautiful when I pour half of it on the floor?

My Oat Milk (Earth’s Own Barista) is always either too much foam or too much just hot liquid! Can’t get quite to that perfect meld of each. But, as a right-handed person, switching the cup to my right hand from left gives me a better “swirl”. The left can’t do that but can pour OK.
