If you’ve ever thought about enjoying a glass of wine at Oklahoma’s highest restaurant, now could be your time.
Ten years ago, Vast began hosting Wine for the People, specifically focused on Spanish wines. Now, it’s turned into a semi-regular event bringing casual sippers and unofficial sommeliers to learn about wine while seated on the 50th floor of the Devon Tower.
If you’ve missed previous chances to dine over Oklahoma City, here is how you can join in on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Vast hosting Wine for the People
Vast, located on the 50th floor of the Devon Tower, hosts the event somewhat regularly, with events happening multiple times throughout the year.

Wine is poured ahead of the opening night at Elisabetta in Oklahoma City on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
On Wednesday, this marks the first time since May, according to their Eventbrite, where you can purchase your ticket.
Attendees will have a guided tasting throughout the evening featuring 6-8 unique selections from Thirst Wine Merchants, an Oklahoma-based fine wine distributor.

In addition to the wine, guests will receive complementary bites for each glass they sample.
“It’s a perfect midweek escape, with an elevated tasting designed for wine lovers and casual sippers alike; all set 50 floors above the city,” a representative for Vast said.
Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
