I bet it was delicious! Every year the best sauce I make is after our tasting party, when I just throw all the leftover scraps into a pot with my sauce recipe and they cook on low all day the next day while I clean up from the party. Somehow the combo of flavors ends up being perfection, every year. I grow about 30 varieties from seed each year.

I just recently made a pasta sauce and I used persimmon, Druzba, Marion, Hartman’s Yellow Gooseberry and black Prince tomatoes. It was good but the time it took made me wanna just grab the jar of Rao’s.

Excellent job! I’d love to know the names of the 8 varieties of tomatoes.
The result!
