Venison Biscuits and Gravy Casserole!

Ingredients
-Biscuits (homemade or 8ct premade dough)
-2 cups self-rising flour
-1 stick salted butter (softened & cut in)
– 1 cup buttermilk
Casserole Base
-1 lb venison breakfast sausage
-¼ cup all-purpose flour
-2 cups whole milk
-2 tbsp black pepper
-6 eggs (scrambled)
-4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
-Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
-Make biscuits: mix flour, butter, and buttermilk. Knead, roll, cut into small balls.
-Cook sausage until browned. – Add flour, stir 1-2 mins.
Slowly pour in milk, stir until thickened into gravy.
Season with black pepper.
-Butter a casserole dish. Place biscuits on bottom.
-Pour scrambled eggs over biscuits.
-Add venison gravy on top.
-Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
-Bake at 400°F for 35 minutes until biscuits are cooked through and cheese is golden.
