Secret Korean food combo?
Just like anything else, different people have different tastes.
Instead of shopping at Costco, where there is a very limited selection, go to HMart or some other Asian grocery store.

They need to make a high protein low sugar melona

They have Melona?! Not at my Costco. 😩

😵 I miss Costco. Recently moved and we don’t have one nearby. But when I did, all of these were staples for me.

The tuna mayo gimbap is gross. It’s all about the fishcake one

Kimbap, but the fried tofu not tuna. My Costco doesn’t have it anymore.
The seaweed is great, too.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, let me stop you at Kevin’s.
There ain’t nothing popular at Costco that starts off named Kevin’s.

I’m sorry but the jongga kimchi sucks

If you don’t have a lot of experience with Korean food then these will probably be pretty good no matter what they really taste like.
That said, melona is amazing no matter where you buy. Nori is hard to mess up and if it’s got the Kirkland’s brand on it it’s usually a pretty good quality. And Bibigo is a very popular brand. As for the rest, try them all.
Don’t be discouraged by not having an Hmart. Do look in all your stores for ingredients to make simple dishes yourself, especially if they aren’t available or you try but then don’t like the prepared item you bought.
Pantry staples to look for that impart authentic flavor profiles and textures: 1. Rice – medium grain, calrose rice, at the very least. 2. Asian branded toasted sesame oil. 3. A light soy sauce 4. Gochugaru. 5. Gochujang.
Green onions, onions, garlic, ginger – these can all be purchased at any grocer.

That Kevin’s stuff is disgusting. The meat looks like dog food. I wish they just sold their sauces.

Not a fan of the Kirkland gim. The packets are too large and the sheets aren’t seasoned to my liking. That imported gopchang seaweed they had was incredible though.
