Chocolate cake with a whipped white chocolate ganache
To model the head, I made a sphere of dark chocolate rice crispies with a dowel in the centre, like a giant lollipop! I covered it with fondant and used a combo of back food colouring and fondant dyed black to add detail.
Since he’s a fan and has a billion nightmare before Christmas mugs, I had one I could use as a reference for shaping his features (3rd pic)
