Today I’m going to be showing you how I make my homemade Lebanese garlic sauce. You’re going to need some garlic. You’re going to need some lemon juice, some salt, avocado oil I use because it is a neutral flavor. The whites of one egg, something to store it in, and then something to blend it in. You’re going to need your im immersion blender. I use my kitchen scale to make sure all my ingredients is on point to make sure the ratios stay consistent and the taste stay bomb. I’ll put the ratios in the description, but I’ll show you my technique for uh peeling garlic really fast. Oh Uh smush it down with my hand. Bust it up into these little pieces. [Music] I’ll weigh up about 85 grams of unpeeled garlic. Get a pot with a lid. I shake it for about 20 seconds vigorously. [Music] As you can see, they come out nice and peeled. Look at that. I weigh up about 75 g of peeled garlic. I’m going to add about about 60 g of lemon juice, one teaspoon of salt. You don’t want to add all your oil at once. It’s about 315 g of oil. You want to add it in a little bit at a time or else you’ll get some liquidy garlic sauce. You want it to stay fluffy and emulsify. It takes a little bit of time to make it emulsify. So, you want to add in your oil a little bit at a time. [Music] All right, adding in the last bit of oil. I’m going to throw my egg whites in at this time. It’ll get too thick too quick if you put your egg whites in and it’ll be like hard to flow around. Splattered garlic in my eye. That’s what she said. [Music] I like to use this cake spreader to get all the garlic sauce off cuz it works really well. [Music] All right. Then you just need something to put it in and store it in. I use these small mason jars. like the large mouth a little better. It’s easy to with the spoon and such, but it’s also easy to plop it in. Plop it in. [Music] All right, there you have it. Best garlic sauce you’ll ever eat. Simple ingredients, homemade. You put a cap on this, put it in your cooler, otr in your fridge, eat it at home. You can eat this thing on anything.
