Please delete and forgive me if I’m misinterpreting the vibe of this subreddit. I was just house sitting for a family who bought me all kinds of groceries for the week including this pre-cooked ham “nugget.” I don’t normally eat ham so I’m short on ideas. Other than cutting it up for an omelet or letting my BF take bites out of it like an apple, I’m not really sure what to do with it. I’d love to turn it into a meal and save the money on buying protein for a day, so I’m open to any and all suggestions! Thanks again!

Navy Bean soup, fried ham sandwich, or pizza toppings.
Make a stew of some sort. Onions, garlic, beans, veggies of choice. Cube the ham and sauté/brown it first. Add rice or serve on whatever suits you.
In scalloped potatoes.
Cut thick ‘steak’ style slices and grill them up, maybe with a little hot sauce on them.
Serve with grilled (or roasted) veg and some nice soft buns.
Lots of [Ham Stew](https://www.food.com/recipe/ham-vegetable-stew-23645) recipes out there.
This is a list of ideas for [leftover ham](https://www.allrecipes.com/gallery/leftover-ham-ideas/)

Use it to complete a monte Cristo, a club, or a BLT sandwich. Also, some ham n cheese sliders on king’s Hawaiian rolls are really good.
I buy these when they are on sale. I put it in the oven and cook it like a regular ham. It only takes about an hour. I slice it and serve it with potatoes or rice and vegetables.
Slice this lovely ham into some thick slabs and place them on the bottom of a glass 9 x 13 baking dish. Slice about 1/8 thick any nice potatoes and arrange over the top. I usually use about 4 large spuds. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and dot with butter. In a large bowl mix together 1 can of cream of cheese soup. I know, it sounds gross, but stay with me here. Then add a can of cold milk and Mix it together with a whisk. Pour it over the top of the ham and potatoes. I like to add about 1/2 can of white wine as well, but you choose. Cover with aluminum foil and bake on 350 about 90 min. Uncover and bake about 20 more minutes. It takes awhile to get the potatoes all the way cooked. My entire family, including nieces and uncles, etc ask me to make this for them. It isn’t hard and we all love it!!😊
Also chopped some up and add to eggs, omelette or breakfast burritos! Make ham salad. I love ham leftovers.
I don’t have any ideas but I totally feel “letting my BF take bites out of it like an apple”.
Diced ham is very versatile, as you can see from all the other recommendations. One tasty “heart healthy (not)” recipe that sprung to mind is a baked potato (can be nuked) with a broccoli, ham, and cheese sauce dumped all over it. I’m sure you can google it. The bean soup suggesting is great but you should add a ham hock for more flavor.
I gotchu! Ham and vegetable skillet pasta! Let me know if you try it and how it worked out!

Can’t go wrong with potatoes.
For example I love this ham potatoes and leek pie!

Cut into sub sections and freeze. Then use what you need for soups, casseroles, omelettes, etc. You can also dice some of it and make green chile breakfast burritos and then freeze the breakfast burritos.
Green beans ham and taters
Quiche in a preformed crust!
Ham, swiss and fresh mushroom omelette
Breakfast bowl with hash browns egg and cheese.
It’s great in fried rice.

Trying to comment a Marcus Samuelsson recipe photo but not sure if it’s visible
Fried rice
You’re all good it’s a fair question
I use that ham to make calzone, eggs Benedict, ham&potato soup, pasta salad with ham & cheese in it, grilled ham&cheese sandwiches, pizza, etc. . It goes a long way
Japanese potato salad has some ham in it. Would also consider making a ham musubi with teriyaki sauce. Could also make pasta with ham, or stir fry it with egg and rice
