Which face has to go upwards, against the shower, and which down against the coffee powder? Honestly I have no idea, thanks!

PS: Why theres a character limit?

Bigger hole is where the pressure goes in 😏

Smooth side down, otherwise it doesn’t work as intended

Had one of those that was 58mm instead of 58.5 😟

  3. The smooth side is down.
Used the same puck screen for about a month, but lately my espresso has started channeling really badly, so I don’t use it anymore.

Sure that isn’t supposed to be attached to a shaver wtf is that over engineered thing lol

Logo (smooth side) up. I got a puck screen as well and I use a lamarzocco linea commercial 3group machine.

Use both sides and taste the different side by side I don’t taste much difference when I try it.I have this style but also the even mesh style pack screen. What I saw in my experience is that the even mesh style is noticeably better than this one. This one makes the shots more unevenly extracted than no pack-screen at all. I don’t think this is universally true but my machine my grinder my coffees my tasting concludes that ( tdb df64 and quite light roasts)

Smoothside down facing the coffee grounds.

The honeycomb *supposedly* “pools” the water from the grouphead then *distributes* it “uniformly” onto the puck.

PS. Character limit is for those posts of just pictures/videos without context and just asking “how’s my shot” as if we can taste the coffee thru the screen

You can puck it from both sides 😂

Looks like a shower screen not a puck screen?

How about trying both side for a while, see if you notice any difference.

If not, then congrats, you found some snakeoil and can happily return it.
