I’m cooking tuna steak Italian style. Yellowfin tuna steak, grilled in a garlic/lemon marinade with a Mediterranean salad of mixed lettuce, arugula, black olives and cherry tomatoes.

Good evening. This is Jean. Welcome to my kitchen. I’m going to make grilled tuna steak Mediterranean/Italian style. And here’s the hero of the dish. This is 200 g of beautiful yellow fin tuna steak. I start by preparing the marinade for the tuna steak. Extra vious olive oil. The juice of a half a lemon, sea salt, black pepper. Quite a lot as always. Best pile of black pepper. [Music] Oregano for that real Mediterranean herbal flavor. Also quite a lot pepper for some extra heat. Not too much, just just enough. Plus finely chopped garlic. Then I’m going to stir this all up. The next step is to coat the tuna with a marinade. I’m using a brush. Might be a little too much marinate, but anyway, it’s better to have too much than not enough. Both sides, of course. Straight into the wheel. [Music] A little higher. Medium. Let’s flip the time to build the plate. I start up with some vegetables. mix. Four different kinds of lettuce. It’s like leaf lettuce. Oak leaf lettuce. Arugula for some spice. Balsamic vinegar. Always nice. And then I will transfer steak on the plate. I need some of that extra sauce and the garlic that’s left behind in a grill pan. We just need this over the tuna. And for some extra decoration and flavor, going to put some cherry tomatoes random around the tuna. A little bit here, a little bit there. Why not? and some black olives because I love olives and they combine very well with this type of salad, Mediterranean salad. I just slice these black olives in half. The tomatoes are quartered. And for my favorite part of the video, the eating. Now that is good. That is still right. It’s cooked medium because the tuna is not too thick. So, goes very quickly in the grill pan, but still beautiful, especially with that garlic. Plus the acidity of the lemon. Nice salad. Sprinkle some extra lemon on the tuna. Nice. I love this stuff, especially with that garlic cuz the garlic provides the ripeness and the lemon, the acidity. Plus, you got the spices, you got the oregano, very Mediterranean, very Italian. Plus the extra flavors black olives, cherry tomatoes and mixed lettuce with the Sweetness of the balsamic vinegar. This is a delicious meal. I’m a big fan of tuna. Duna and Osh.
