  1. Dark purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Beautiful nose of black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.

    Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, spices, chocolates, tobacco, light earth and herbs.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain in Washington State. Elegant and fruity. Smooth and soft.

This 6 year old is showing nice complexity at this point, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Showing good potential to become a 95+ point wine.

This Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime.

Spicy, entertaining, and the high alcohol is well integrated by now.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with a nice piece of steak.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 20 months in all new French oak barrels.

    14.8% alcohol by volume.

    93 points.

    $150.

Yeah. Nice post. Just had this. Very good but agree that more time would likely be worth it.

Thanks for the notes. I’ll let my bottle hang out for a while!

How was the oak treatment. I have found Quliceda to have a heavy oak treatment that dries out the wine. I would prefer them if they cut the amount of new oak in half at this winery.
