A bountiful day!
All the habaneros are going to Hotsauce. Jalapeño to pickling. Bananas to grilling. Habanada to experimenting. Shishito to grilling and friends. Thai to mash. Hatch to beats me.
Everything is ripening all at once! I expanded my garden a lot this year. A few things I’ve learned:
- Shishito plants produce A LOT and it’s a LONG season for them.
- These Hatch peppers were a letdown. Zero heat bland flavor.
- I need to space my plants out a little more next year.
- Pepperocini and shishito are basically the same?

Holy cow!! That’s an incredible harvest! How many habanero plants did it take to produce that many?
Idk my tomatoes pulled a Lazarus on me.
