Fold the ham in half, layer it, add mayo, make this shit last longer. You stuck a whole pack of ham on there, vegetables are cheaper. Tomato, one red onion, little $2.5 baby bag of shredded lettuce, a Kraft single, mayo, salt and pepper, little dash of hot sauce. Instead of just going hard on ham, do a little pepperoni with the ham. You get adventurous, add a little container with some pickled peppers.
That sandwich is probably cheaper than a mouthful of ham and now you have something to be proud of.
Also egg salad isn’t too expensive, make some of those bastards. Super good.
I also like to make diced chicken marinated in a little yogurt, lime, salt and paper, curry powder, and some kind of chili powder. Cook them, place in large bowl with more seasoning, yogurt and mayo, green onion, raisins, sugar, and some kind of crushed nuts. Boom, curried chicken salad sandwiches. Better chilled, make that shit on Sunday and eat until Thursday at least.
