A woman’s misinterpretation of a dessert order at a restaurant has left viewers online in hysterics.
Alana Patmore (@zhulitunes on TikTok) has gained significant attention on the platform after sharing her reaction to a shared plate of tiramisu that the group she was dining with had been gifted.
The 26-year-old hyperpop musician had mistakenly tucked into a small plate of dessert as if it were just for her before being met with judgmental looks from her friends, who laughed at her honest error. The video, shared to TikTok on June 17, has been viewed more than 4.4 million times and has led to several amusing comments.

Patmore, known by her stage name Zhuli, was gifted the dessert for past performances at the restaurant in Sydney, Australia.
“We weren’t expecting dessert but they said they would bring us out some tiramisu,” Patmore, who had been dining with her musical partner, Ali, told Newsweek. “I don’t remember whether I thought the whole serving was for me or if I was just too excited about the tiramisu to think about anything else.
“Ali’s friend was actually the one who mentioned it’s to share, but I could’ve eaten the whole thing.”

Viewers online saw Patmore, based in Sydney, take a generous spoonful of the Italian dessert made of ladyfinger pastries and coffee before realizing it was intended as a sharing plate.
She initially picked up the plate and showed it off to the camera, beaming with excitement at the prospect of eating the inviting dessert. Before she could enjoy much of it, the group she had been dining with explained that it had been meant for all of them to share.

With an embarrassed laugh, Patmore placed the dessert she had called a “betrayal” in the caption on the table.
An overlaid text on the video read: “Not me thinking the share plate of tiramisu was just one serving.”
The post, which has been liked more than 293,000 times, has amassed over 500 comments. Most commenters have shared their funny takes on the mishap and voiced how relatable Patmore’s mistake was.
“That is literally 1 serving idk [I do not know] what they’re talking about,” one viewer, @maddy_au1, said.
Another, @meowtigakali, added: “I am NOT SHARING a tiramisu.”
“You were holding that tiramisu with your life (as you should),” a third viewer, @yum.berries, said.
Another, @qeleshjaaaaaaaaa, added: “This is why I make my own tiramisu and eat half of it.”
“Okay but tiramisu is so damn rich, how could anyone have more than like 3 to 4 bites, especially right after a full meal. So yeah that’s definitely a sharing size,” another, @azeemahfj, said.
“I actually posted the video a few months after I took it when I was looking through my photo memories,” Patmore said. “I thought it was funny, but the response it’s gotten was obviously way more than I expected.
“I think people got really uppity about whether or not it was a single or shared serving of tiramisu…But the discussion is still really funny. It was plenty of tiramisu, especially after a multi-course meal, and it was really good!”
