Turkish-Indian Fusion Chicken with Cecik
Smoky tandoori-spiced chicken served over a refreshing Turkish herby yogurt dip (Cecik), garnished with chilli oil, mint, and crunchy walnuts – a fusion that’s healthy, addictive, and absolutely irresistible!
Ingredients:
300g boneless chicken breast (chunks)
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp yogurt
1 tsp tandoori masala
½ tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp olive oil
1 cheese slice (torn)
½ sliced onion
For Cacik (Herby Yogurt Dip):
½ cup hung curd
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper
½ tsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)
1 tbsp fresh mint (chopped)
Method:
1. Marinate chicken with garlic paste, yogurt, tandoori masala, chilli, salt, olive oil, cheese, and onions. Rest 20 mins.
2. Cook marinated chicken in a hot pan until charred and juicy.
3. For Cecik: mix hung curd with garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, chilli flakes, coriander, and mint.
4. Spread Cecik on a plate, top with chicken, drizzle chilli oil, and garnish with mint & chopped walnuts.
