I ordered a Wendy’s 5 for $5 meal deal and substituted the drink with a large Raven’s Blood chocolate frosty from the Wednesday x Wendy’s collab. It was only like $0.50 extra that way.
Totally worth it! The cherry syrup has the coolest consistency like a thin kind of swirly blood. It’s not the standard syrup, but has a bit of special effects look to it. It was a fun dose of Halloween creepiness. Did make me feel goth while I was eating haha.
The syrup has a black cherry taste. It’s not the standard maraschino cherry colored differently. But tastes like the Blow Pop lollipop Cherry flavor, which is my favorite of their flavors. It’s one part candy to one part natural black cherry flavor. It tastes like what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant (not like totally natural cherry or anything), but also slightly elevated.
I did like the combo with the chocolate frosty. Try it! I think it’s a good value and a fun experience.
Also comes with a fun purple spoon with a raven emblem on top. It’s very long. They stock it in the normal spoon dispenser. But it also comes in the bag, which is also Wednesday themed and super cute.

I got it in the chocolate when it first dropped and I don’t think they put as much syrup as they should have. It didn’t look as red/swirly as yours – it was just kind of at the bottom sadly. The bits I did get to try with it reminded me of a chocolate covered cherry and it was delicious!
I second the recommendation. The first time I got the Wednesday meal was essentially just because it’s a good value but i’ve gotten it 2 times since just because the frosty is so good. I don’t even normally like black cherry flavored things but it’s really nice. I haven’t tried it with the chocolate but the vanilla one is super balanced with the syrup. really good sweet treat.
yessss the chocolate one is SOOOO good! i have a wendy’s not even 5 mins from me and i’ve gone more times than i care to admit since they got this 🤭 i’ll be sad when it leaves

Cherry is my favorite blow pop flavor too!
I tried the chocolate one and didn’t like it. In my opinion the cherry syrup didn’t go very well with the chocolate, i haven’t tried it as vanilla. I also got a normal spoon instead of the special one sadly.
They cheap asses didn’t even give me the spoon and mine wasn’t that pretty, it was mostly drizzled around the cup and sunk in the bottom, mostly vanilla 🙄
By the way I did hear the meal of misfortune is mostly just a regular meal with a special sauce and this frosty.
The 5 for $5 with a frosty substitution (have to click edit then choose the large) gets you most of the way there for less. Though of course you won’t get the special sauce.
Edit: didn’t realize the Wednesday meal has 10 chicken nuggets instead of 5. But does include a burger or sandwich.
