“A decadent sauce secretly full of veggies? Yes please!!” De Laurentiis wrote on Instagram recently. “Giada’s Green Alfredo is the new secret weapon for when we crave some cozy comfort pasta but wanna hit those fiber and veggie goals.”

She included a video of herself downing the green noodles, and it looks so fresh and delicious. The sauce is made with roasted zucchini and broccolini, blended with two kinds of cheese to create a “velvety green Alfredo that clings perfectly to pasta.” Yum!
“If nobody told you, you’d have no idea how full of veggies this pasta is,” De Laurentiis said in a blog post. She starts by roasting veggies, then blending them with cheese, lemon juice, and other ingredients, then pouring the smooth sauce over a bowl of noodles (and topping with more cheese, of course!)
