THIENSVILLE — Thiensville’s eateries were highlighted during an elevated outdoor dining experience that took over Green Bay Road Tuesday evening.
Presented by Shully’s Cuisine and Events, The Village Table event featured a sampling of Thiensville dining, including courses by Shully’s, guest chef Barkha Limbu of the former cheel and nearly every other Thiensville restaurant.
The four-course meal, which ranged from spanakopita and barramundi en papillote to raspberry cheesecake brownie, was served on 13 hand-built farm tables. Organizers said that this event was planned for a year and involved shopping at second hand stores and estate sales to find items.

The price also included wine specially paired with each course, as well as a specialty cocktail during the hor d’oeuvres course. Tarrah and The Trouble provided the live music.
“We were thrilled to participate in the inaugural Village Table event and be the presenting sponsor. It was a joy to collaborate with the leadership team at the Thiensville Downtown Business Association, led by Traci Cain,” Shully’s General Manager Jake Shully said. “It was wonderful getting the chance to work with so many talented chefs and local businesses to make this event a reality. We hope that this is the start of an event that will be done yearly and to continue to shine a spotlight on all the great businesses and people of Thiensville.”
