It’s a perfect faucata. Easy, quick to make, and ple like a cloud. With my three foolproof tips, anyone can make it. No machine or baking skills required. Today we’re making faukata. Tip one, never mix yeast and salt directly. Start by combining the yeast with water and olive oil. Then add flour and salt. You don’t need a machine or endless kneading by hand. Just stir well with a spoon. Second tip, let the dough rest in the oven. Turned off with the light on. Now let the dough dance. Scoop, lift, fold. Repeat five times. Then scoop, lift, and drop five times. Let it rest. Repeat the same steps once more. Scoop, lift, fold, scoop, lift, drop. Tip three, use the right size baking tray. This make all the difference. Let it rest one last time, 30 minutes. Now for the fun part. Drizzle with olive oil. Add rosemary and flaky salt and poke the dough with your fingers. A few drops of water will help it bake beautifully. Pop it in the oven and bake until golden. And that’s it. Soft, fluffy fata with a golden crust.
