
Wild Sockeye Salmon bellies by Kenai Fish
A quick review of this gorgeous can of salmon belly.
Bellies… so maybe there is more than one belly in here… maybe from multiple fish? Who knows… I'm just here to eat it.
Texture was soft, buttery, and so flaky.
No other flavors are going on except the unadulterated richness that sockeye is known for.
I took the rest of the can and drizzled some hot honey on it, a welcomed addition. 😍
This can is perfect for any application that treats it gently to preserve the amazing texture and mouth feel.
-Placed on top of rice and a runny egg… heaven.
-Over a traditional spinach salad
-sprinkle of a little Maldon smoked salt and eaten on a crostini

The Wildfish Smoked King Belly is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Not just in the tinned seafood world; Im talking about the whole wide world of food.

Do you ever go to Seattle Fish Guys? Their smoked salmon bellies are died-and-gone-to-heaven food!!! One of few places worth fighting through downtown traffic to get to!
