    You know mugs can come without handles, yeah? That looks like a very normal latte mug size/shape to me, even if it is technically a bowl.

    This is why I order lattes in a to-go cup even if I’m planning on staying. They are almost always sized/shaped to guarantee spillage and for it to get cold sooner.

    I honestly don’t think this is totally crazy, as matcha is traditionally served in bowls.

    Bowls like that are common for lattes and hot chocolate in Germany and Switzerland. Big brimming bowls of mostly milk!
