If you gonna make such a big roll, why don’t you just make small roll with barely any rice or no rice at all for the filling inside?

If you eliminated all the extra rice not just on the outside perimeter but also any rice that doesn’t properly belong to one of the inside rolls, maybe I would consider it. But since it looks like I’ll be eating it with utensils anyway rather than how rolls would be eaten, it seems like a lot of wasted effort on the part of the roll makers.

It’s the one from Toriko but my god that is a lot of rice.
Take the concept and make it long instead of wide, that way as you cut the roll the fish and fillings change. Much better rice ratio and potentially cool experience
