Just checked out Santo in Silverlake recently and had a few standout dishes worth sharing.
From the nigiri set, I liked the shiitake special and hamachi choka. Hamachi sashimi was great. The chutoro tostada, served on a crispy wonton, was probably the best bite of the night. Also, the broccoli starter is a must.
If you’re going this summer, ask for the albacore nigiri from Fiji. It’s a seasonal item and totally worth trying.
