Fiancé is on night shifts so I’ve been making sandwiches for him to take into work. (Sandwich details in comments)

Since he is working night shifts lately, I took it as an opportunity to work on my sandwich game. Was always able to make tasty sandwiches but my food styling/photography was lacking. Plus it was a great excuse to practice my bread baking skill. I’m pretty happy with my efforts.

Takes him an hour to get to office and even longer to drive to the site from our house. He likes to eat his sandwich while driving to work. So there’s no worries for the hot sandwiches to get cold/soggy in lunch bag. His snacks and sweet treat he waits to eat while doing office work or downtime at work. There’s also mixed nuts, jerky, homemade protein bars or granola, always in the lunch bag in case he wants more food later in the night.

Any sandwich description that says “oil and vinegar” is a mixture of olive oil, red wine vinegar, freshly grated garlic, fresh oregano, salt and pepper shaken together.

I’d be 600lbs if you were making me sandwiches like these every day.

  5. You are a dream! I definitely couldn’t let those sit until lunch, they would be taken care of on the way there😓

Everyone on here would like to hire you as their spouse

I’m drooling. They all look delicious. How do you keep them from getting soggy by the time he has his meal break?

Stop whatever else you are doing in life and open a sandwich shop.

  10. Blog Worthy Pictures, could be a great way to make a little money for the wedding. Definitely these should be either part of the reception or a Deli like station for dinner.

Look great when fresh. Do they keep well in storage? That’s a lot of sauce to make the bread soggy
